?I have seen these lights at so many outdoor patios, and have wanted them for a very long time. I was really surprised when I opened the box and saw how heavy and sturdy these lights actually are. The cord is as thick as an outdoor extension cord, which I am hoping is squirrel proof. So many of my lights get chewed through because of them. Because they are so heavy duty, you definitely need a good way to secure them and to end. I will probably fasten one end from the roof to the tree this summer. I tried to string it from my light hooks to the tree, but it’s sagged way too much in the middle, due to how heavy they are. They did come with a bunch of small zip ties. You can however, by Hooks that are made for them, that hook through the hole on top of the light
